Africa is endowed with sunshine throughout the year, it’s a beautiful continent with 54 independent countries, endowed with all world minerals and special stones, wild life, mountains, lakes and rivers. With a GDP of USD 2.39 Trillion, Africa has a population of 1.1 billion people, 20% of whom are Youth, and the population is expected to grow to 2.4 billion by 2020. Women in Africa are 52% of the population but they earn less than 10% of the GDP.
The rate of youth unemployment in Africa is over 20%, by the year 2040, Africa will have the world largest workforce superseding China and India. This presents enormous potential if harnessed or a big generation risk. Africa however still grapples with extreme poverty, hunger, preventable diseases, war and a broken democracy.
Uganda’s population is 35 million and projected to grow to 47 million by 2025. Youth (15-60 years) account for 60% of the population, whereas 51% are women. Youth unemployment in Uganda is over 60%.
The Young Leaders Development Program is designed for high potential future leaders with 0-5 years’ work experience who are ready to further their leadership skills, focuses on experiential learning with group discussions, and empowers participants to coach each other so they can reproduce the exercises in their teams. The Program culminates into the Annual Africa Future Leaders Forum which is a think tank that brings together Africa’s fine brains to shape the future of the continent and individual nations. The forum is hosted by eminent scholars and leaders across the globe to mentor and coach the new breed of leaders

Our Agenda, 40:100:30 , is to deliver 40 women CEOS in the top 100 companies in Uganda by the year 20230. This goal is to be delivered in the next 14years. This is phenomenal and challenging but achievable.

Our distinctive approach integrates Face 2 face work streams with ecosystem work. Typical program features include pre-work to help participants explore their sources of strength as leaders, a series of at least two Face 2 face work streams, ecosystem work to apply new skills and tools in practice, and coaching to support the implementation of personal learning plans. As a special feature, the Women In Leadership Program includes “mini-board” peer group sessions in which participants support one another in their efforts to become more centered, and more effective, as leaders.
The WLDP Program starts with personal mastery, builds on individual strengths, and connects rising female leaders to like-minded executives. Participants learn to lead more effectively, achieve peak performance in their organization, and gain a greater sense of fulfillment. Specifically, successful participants will:
